No Pain... No Gain

GREAT ACHIEVEMENT IS BORN OF A STRUGGLE.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Our strength grows out of our weakness," Life is about constant struggles. Struggles are both external and internal. How we adapt and react to these struggles makes us who we are. No person who has achieved greatness in life has not gone through a struggle of their own. Strife can inspire you to overcome adversity and to propel yourself to real achievement. Look at every struggle as an opportunity for personal growth. It is the struggle itself, not the result that builds character. Once you have plotted your course, stay the path even if others seem to question your judgment. When you conquer your objective, those that questioned you will tell you that they knew all along that you had the fortitude to accomplish your task.

  1. Whenever I come to this site, wow, it just pushes me to do better... and, to ponder before acting. You are very thoughtful and purposeful in your word usage and how you string it all together. There is a level of insight here that I believe only comes with age and experience... We all, I believe, have our own stories to tell and our levels of experiences that define us; but, at the end of the definition are we defining what that experience has taught us and the growth we've obtained from it or, are we beat up by the fact that we've undergone yet another experience?? I think the truisms come from the fact alone that we've endured, yet, another experience. Thanks for this post...
